A prolific composer, arranger and orchestrator for film, television, video games and symphonic concerts, Chad Seiter has composed and produced original music for major Hollywood franchises including Star Trek, Fringe and LOST. He is also Composer, Music Director and Associate Executive Producer for Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses touring concert series performing symphonic arrangements of the classic Nintendo scores performed with hundreds of the world’s leading orchestras.
Chad Seiter started his musical career as assistant to Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino, providing orchestration on hit television seriesLOST and blockbuster films including Jurassic World, the J.J. Abrams Star Trekreboot, Cloverfield, Speed Racer, and later composing for the first season of the highly rated television series Fringe, recording each weekly episode with the highly coveted Hollywood Studio Orchestra scoring musicians.
He also scored the AAA video games LEGO Jurassic World, Star Trek, and Fracture, as well as providing additional music to Ratatouille, Up, LOST: Via Domus, and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. Majestic and epic in scope, Seiter’s original score for Star Trek was performed by 123 musicians of the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra, one of the largest ensembles ever recorded for a game.
As Composer, Arranger, Orchestrator, and Music Director for The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses and The Legend of Zelda: 25th Anniversary Symphony live concert tours, Chad Seiter’s acclaimed orchestral arrangements of Koji Kondo’s iconic video game scores have been performed by the world’s most prestigious orchestras including The Royal Philharmonic, The Tokyo Philharmonic and The National Symphony.
Seiter recently launched his latest epic concert production as Associate Executive Producer and Co-Creator, Composer, Lead Arranger and Music Director of Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, a new, live orchestral touring concert showcasing memorable music from the world of Pokémon.
