Composing & Producing – Scores & Songs

Ludwig Göransson is a Swedish composer, and a USC alum, best known for his work on US TV sitcoms such as Community on NBC, Happy Endings on CBS, and New Girl on Fox starring Zooey Deschanel, as well as composing the music for 30 Minutes or Less.

He composed the score to the critically acclaimed drama Fruitvale Station, based on the fatal shooting of 22-year old Oscar Grant on January 1, 2009. The film won the Grand Jury Prize and Audience awards in the Dramatic category at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, also taking home the Avenir Prize and Un Certain Regard awards at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2013, he composed the music for the movie We’re the Millers.

Apart from his composing career, Ludwig creates and produces all the music for the group Childish Gambino alongside Donald Glover, and he produced 2 tracks on the recent HAIM album, Days Are Gone (certified gold), including “Forever”.
