Doreen Ringer-Ross is Vice President of Film & TV at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). In this role, Ringer-Ross directs all of BMI’s activities serving film, television and game composers. During her tenure, she has established key programs for composers including the Sundance Composer’s Lab and the BMI Film/TV Composers Conducting Workshop. She oversees BMI’s film scoring scholarships at USC, UCLA and Berklee College of Music, and has created artist development platforms with the Sundance Film Festival, the IFP Filmmaker Labs, the IFP Filmmakers Conference, the Los Angeles Film Festival, the SXSW Film Festival, and the Woodstock Film Festival.

Doreen Ringer-Ross is one of film and television-music’s foremost executives. Her additions to BMI’s industry-leading roster of composers include Harry Gregson-Williams, Alexandre Desplat, Alan Silvestri, Terence Blanchard, Graeme Revell, Christopher Young, David Arnold, Stewart Copeland, Mychael Danna, Rolfe Kent, George S. Clinton, Aaron Zigman, Richard Gibbs, Christopher Lennertz, John Ottman, Ed Shearmur, Clint Mansell, John Frizzell, David Holmes, Lyle Workman, Dave Koz, Cliff Eidelman, William Ross, Javier Navarrete, Rachel Portman, James Newton Howard, Atli Orvarsson, Fil Eisler, Ludwig Goransson, Trevor Morris, and Junkie XL.

Ringer-Ross also works closely with BMI giants John Williams, Thomas Newman, Danny Elfman, Dave Grusin, Mike Post, W.G. “Snuffy” Walden, David Newman, Mark Mothersbaugh, Brian Tyler, Charlie Fox, Lalo Schifrin, Richard Sherman, Alan Menken, Randy Edelman, George Fenton, Cliff Martinez, Tyler Bates, Mark Mancina, Theodore Shapiro, A.R.
