EICAR Workshop – Directing the Composer

Day 1 – Workshop Overview – Concepts and Creative Approaches in determining the right music for your film project. Filmmakers have the option to introduce their film project for use in this workshop.
Day 2 – Building a bridge between the language of Film vs. Music; Spotting Session, Temp Music, Underscore, Songs, Sound Design
Day 3 – Introduce the student composers into the mix and assign teams for scoring your film project. Working in collaboration, determine the method or approach for your film.
Day 4 – Continue working on the score for your film
Day 5 – Critical review and screening of your final film with music
