The Visual Music – Virtual Reality Workshop brings together artists from Los Angeles (USC) and New York (IFP) to lead this 5-day creative experience with musicians, composers, sound designers and visual artists. Visual artists are welcome to introduce new ideas for creation as well as previous projects which invite musical and sonic collaboration. This workshop will also provide you with an introduction to the latest developments in VR, led by guest artist, Candace Reckinger. Participants will work together to create original works for a final screening, streamed live.

2 of the 3 tracks from “Darkside’s” playlist on the NS Soundcloud page, total more than 600,000 views.  These numbers alone support the idea of inviting Dave Harrington to take part in a Music Technology Workshop. It could focus on Dave’s work  or work with Dave and introduce other artists, with different aesthetics and their unique software and hardware tools for music creation and production.
